B'ville student participates in World Leadership Forum

Antonio Fabrizi, a ninth-grader at Durgee Junior High School, traveled to Washington, D.C. this past summer to participate in the World Leadership Forum through the People to People Ambassador Program. The forum provides students with opportunities to explore history and leaders from the past, as well as meet some of the nation's current leaders.

While in Washington, Fabrizi was selected to lay a wreath at the World War II Memorial, and he attended a dinner at the Saudi Arabian Embassy. He also visited the National Air and Space Museum, Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, and he traveled to Gettysburg to tour the battlefield.
