At a June board meeting, Abdo-Rott said the project could become a key component in the village beautification vision. She admitted the vision has been scaled back from the original plan that included the lower pond improvements and amphitheater construction.
While a phased approach to the work spanning a three-year period was discussed, Abdo-Rott said the committee has not determined the extent of the project's development.

"I'm very excited as we move forward," Serafin said. "The Swan Pond is a treasured village landmark and this is a great opportunity to ensure its longevity."
