Group Show at Szozda Gallery

Szozda Gallery, the new art venue located in the Delavan Center just beyond downtown's Armory Square kicks off the second group show featuring works by many other notes Central New York artists.

The December exhibition opens Wednesday, Dec. 1 and remains up through Friday, December 24, 2010. A reception is planned for Friday, Dec. 3, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Expect to see many of the exhibiting artists in attendance. Among the area artists included in this show are photographers Robert Carroll and John Dowling, painters John Fitzsimmons, Robert Glisson, Diana Godfrey, Joyce Day Homan, Diane Menzies, Bob Niedzwiecki, Karen Thomas-Lillie and Deborah Walsh, printmaker Ruth Wynn, and glass artist Carmel Nicoletti.

About Szozda Gallery

It is an 800 square foot showcase and sales venue for fine art created by area artists. Conveniently located in downtown Syracuse at 501 West Fayette St., just a block beyond Armory Square, the gallery is free and open to the public. Off-street parking is available and the gallery is handicapped accessible. Regular gallery hours are Wednesday - Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. For further information, call the gallery at 579.2805.
