Open Writers' Group
Every other Tuesday, local writers support each other and share their progress. This month's sessions will be at 7 p.m. June 1, 15 and 29.
Wired Wednesday goes digital
Get ready to preserve your summer fun the digital way at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday June 2 with digital photos for beginners. Bring a camera if you have one and learn how to use it and how to transfer your shots to the computer at this hands-on session on digital photography basics. Seating is limited so registration is required. Later in the month, at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday June 16, we'll return to the lab to show you how to store, manipulate and organize your photos online using free programs and services like Picasa and Flickr.
Spring vegetable and flower show
The Men's Garden Club of Syracuse will host their annual spring garden show, a feast for the eyes and nose beginning at 12:30 p.m. Saturday June 5 through Sunday June 6.
New graduates are being advised to stalk the jobs they want leaving no stone unturned and we're here to help you do just that. Join librarian Julia Schult at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday June 9 to discover some of the many "Tools You Can Use."
