Skaneateles Police blotter: May 17 to 23

Sgt. Stevens says

From May 24 until June 6, the New York State Governor's Traffic Safety Council has instituted a seat belt campaign to make drivers aware about buckling up. Buckle Up New York "Click it or ticket" patrols will be out during this time to issue tickets if you do not have your seatbelt on.

Also, the parking ticket amnesty ends June 1. Outstanding parking ticket fines will be doubled if not paid by May 31. Please check iparkapp.com to run your current or past plate numbers to see if you have any outstanding parking tickets. Any questions, please contact the police department at 685-3456.

Arrests for the week:

~ Timothy L. Archambo, 44, of 183 Seymour St., Auburn, was charged May 20 with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, unlicensed operator and speeding.

~ Robert Bradley, 61, of 26 Onondaga St., Skaneateles, was charged May 22 with criminal trespass.

~ Mark S. Buehler, 44, of 19 Orchard Road, Skaneateles, was charged May 23 with disorderly conduct.
