B'ville: KBR Donor Spotlight - Optimists donate $1K

Local organization supports after ball party

(From left) Baldwinsville Optimists Joyce Ramseyer, Ron Rumpf, Jim Johnson, Pat Dickman, and Susan Ranous present a $1,000 donation to the Keep the Ball Rolling (KBR) event. KBR is an after the senior ball party designed to keep students safe. Local businesses and organizations have shown generous support for KBR helping Baker High School's PTSA to provide seniors with a safe night of outrageous fun and prizes. KBR's mission is to give seniors a way to celebrate without alcohol, drugs and driving, thus helping to prevent tragic accidents on ball night. While several businesses, community organizations and individuals have already contributed to make the senior ball, held Friday May 28, a truly memorable night for Baker seniors, KBR is still looking for donations and volunteers that would like to help.
