Joyful Noise: Concert Series for the Community finishes with a piano recital May 23
Acclaimed pianist and Syracuse University Setnor School of Music professor Ida Trebicka will present the final recital of the season for Joyful Noise: Concert Series for the Community. She will perform at 4 p.m. Sunday May 23 at Liverpool First United Methodist Church, 604 Oswego St.
The program will feature compositions by Trebicka's compatriots. Some of the music will be new to Central New York audiences. The first part of her program will be familiar classical pieces for the piano, including works by Mozart, Liszt, Grieg, and Prokofiev.
Trebicka has performed throughout the United States and Europe as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. She has been featured in National Radio-Television, Italian Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Ancona-Italy, WCNY, Syracuse, and WBFO-Radio in Buffalo. She has performed chamber with members of London, Paris, Athens, Rome, Munich, and Bari, Italy Symphonic Orchestras.
Joyful Noise concerts are free. There is ample seating and free parking. The church is accessible to all.
