Liverpool, ESM lacrosse play double header benefit

The Liverpool and East Syracuse Minoa athletic departments are pleased to announce a special girl's and boy's lacrosse double-header to be held May 7 at the Carrier Dome.

Profits from these games will be donated to the Kara MacDougall Fund and the Brian Wilbur Fund.

MacDougall, a senior at ESM, was diagnosed with cancer in November 2009 while she was a foreign exchange student in Australia. Sadly she passed away on Jan. 18.

Wilbur, a senior at Liverpool High School, was diagnosed with cancer in 2008. After his cancer went into remission he was cleared to play football for LHS this past fall. As the football season ended, his cancer returned and he has just finished his last chemo treatment.

The girls will play at 5:45 p.m. followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 for anyone ages 12 and up and $2 for those under 12. Tickets will are on sale at each athletic department.
