Three students in the Baldwinsville Central School District placed in accelerated math levels in the Onondaga County Math Contest held on March 9.
Cate Beamish, an eighth-grader at Durgee Junior High School, earned first place at the ninth-grade math level. Nathan Porceng and Nathan James, sophomores at Baker High School, received second place and third place respectively at the 11th-grade math level. Placing in the competition at an accelerated math level was an exceptional accomplishment for each of these students.
