Village of Liverpool leaders on edge

The trustees have discussed scheduling a public meeting on the matter, but no date has yet been set.

The next village board meeting is at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, and will include a public hearing on the proposed 2010-11 village budget.

LPD activity in February

Liverpool Police Chief William Becker reported to the village board of trustees at their March 15 meeting, that officers issued 133 citations for violations of the state's vehicle and traffic laws during February.

Three arrests were made for driving while intoxicated and nine traffic accidents were investigated.

Officers made 699 residential checks and wrote nine parking tickets during the month while investigating 230 complaints.
