Predating the unplugged era, Dru Rodgers cofounded the acoustic rock band Heavy Wood in San Francisco with his singer-songwriter brother Jeffrey Pepper Rodgers. Still based in northern California, Dru can now be found playing tenor and baritone ukulele, cavaquinho, bouzouki, and other strange stringed contraptions in the world rock band Kazamoze. His first solo album is due to be released in the fall of 2010.
