The Bowling Stones, Loose Cannons and Road Killians are among the 63 four person teams ready to roll when the first ever Central New York Irish Road Bowling Tournament tees off at noon this Sunday March 14 at Onondaga Lake Park.
Groups from Bennington, Vermont, the Adirondack community of Cambridge, Auburn and the entire Syracuse area will be vying for a shot at the championship title and $200 cash prize. Fans are encouraged to come out and root for their favorite team as they make their way down the two-mile Shoreline Walking Trail from Willow Bay.
The party, also open to the public, gets underway at 12 noon at the Barking Gull, adjacent to Onondaga Lake Park, at the corner of Lake and Willow streets. Festivities feature the acoustic sounds of Prime Time and the awards ceremony. Food and beverages will be available for sale. Onondaga Lake Park is located in Liverpool off of Route 370.
