Mohegan Manor chefs get creative with Harpoon's brews

With a passion for their product and an excitement to use innovative, high quality ingredients, the March 24 Harpoon Beer dinner at the Restaurant at Mohegan Manor will be an exquisite match.

Featuring a five-course meal, this dinner pays special attention to all of Harpoon's product lines including the Island Creek Oyster Stout, a 100-barrel series product that Harpoon calls a return to their brewing roots. There is also a one-of-a-kind limited batch creation fashioned by a Harpoon brewer, as well as the Leviathan Baltic Porter, one of their bigger beers that is geared to an adventurous palate.

Mohegan Manor chefs will pair these beers with courses highlighting delicious, fresh ingredients prepared in unique ways to please your palate. Courses will include shrimp and soba noodles in a tarragon and coriander broth and cocoa espresso sirloin with an ancho chile veloute, as well as three other delightful preparations.
