Reynolds presents . . . High School Musical, Jr.'

Reynolds Elementary Youth Players was created in 2006 with the purpose to give children in kindergarten through fifth grades the opportunity to grow in self-confidence by way of expressing themselves artistically through the wonderful world of theater.

In March 2007, the Youth Players performed the beloved musical "Annie Jr." to a sold out audience each night. The following year, they performed the well-loved "School House Rock Jr." and received rave reviews. Last year, they traveled "somewhere over the rainbow," as they thoroughly enjoyed performing the classic "The Wizard of Oz."

All three shows helped to raise funds to purchase a new playground for the kindergarten through second-grade students of Reynolds Elementary School.

This year, the students invite you to attend Reynolds Elementary Youth Players' fourth annual musical production of "High School Musical, Jr." Performances will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday March 25, Friday March 26, and Saturday March 27 and at 2 p.m. Sunday March 28 in the Reynolds cafeteria. All tickets are $5 and proceeds benefit the Reynolds Elementary Playground fund. To reserve tickets, call Mary Ficarra at 436-4472.

Carly Patrick, left, and Kellen Albrecht rehearse their parts as The Silky Rain and The Velvet Fog.
