Robin's Egg Hunt

Calling all Cicero children, ages 3 to 9, to join the fun with this years Robin's Egg Hunt. Robin's Egg Hunt is taking place at 10 a.m. Saturday March 27 at Skyway Park located on East Taft Road. Children will be on the hunt for 1,500 eggs and eligible for a variety of prizes. Plus, to keep the hunt fair for all ages, eggs are color-coded and an egg-limit is set. All ages are guaranteed prizes. To sign up you must call 699-5233 or e-mail jraddell@ciceronewyork.net beginning Monday March 8. Provide your child's name, age, Cicero address, and an adult e-mail address.

Club Rec in Cicero

Spring break is coming up soon and that means it is time for Club Rec. This program is the best way to ensure your child stays active during the Spring Break. Every day of our program includes a field trip, endless games, arts & crafts, and other activities. It's also a great way for your child to make new friends. The days always fly by because the participants are having so much fun, and parents don't have to worry that their child is bored at home. Club Rec is for children currently enrolled in First through Sixth Grade and will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday April 19 through Friday April 23 at Sacred Heart Church. Registration for Cicero Residents begins March 23 and March 30 for non-residents. Fee for residents is $135 and for non-residents is $145. For any additional information please call 699-2533.

Kids First, Safety First

"Kids First, Safety First" is a free program that is a great way to have your child learn invaluable safety information. Parents and children will receive a Fingerprint ID card from the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, a DNA kit from Karate John's and learn about Fire Safety from the Cicero Fire Department. Children will also discuss "stranger danger," and learn self-defense basics in an interactive format. In addition, there will be plenty of raffles, prizes and fun! This safety seminar is for children ages four and up and will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. March 27 at Karate John's. Call Cicero Parks and Recreation at 699-5233 for more information.
