Effects of erosion learned at Ray MS

Ray Middle School sixth-grader Rachael Butkins displays her landscape model that included mountains and a river for her science project.

Sixth-graders in teacher Marilou Fredenburg's science classes at Ray Middle School recently created their interpretations of what a landscape would look like after years of weathering and erosion. The project included drawing a picture of a landscape as it looks today, then drawing the same landscape as it will look years later due to erosion. Each student also created a model of their landscape to demonstrate their knowledge of the subject. Students presented their projects to their classmates after winter break.
