For recent Medicare Advantage enrollees now second-guessing their decisions or those who have yet to choose, Fidelis Care assures Medicare-eligible seniors there is still time to change plans. In fact, the window of opportunity for selecting another Medicare Advantage plan remains open until the end of March.
Fidelis Care will host free Fidelis Medicare Advantage seminars in the Syracuse area throughout March for local residents who are eligible for Medicare and want answers about coverage and benefits.
A seminar will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday March 11 and March 25 at the Great Northern Mall, 4155 Route 31, Clay.
Fidelis Medicare Advantage plans feature low co-pays and lower out-of-pocket costs than traditional fee-for-service Medicare. Key benefits include zero-dollar monthly plan premiums, low co-pays for primary care and specialist visits, the freedom to choose thousands of quality doctors and hospitals, and zero-dollar co-pays for lab tests and preventive services. The program is also available with Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage, featuring a $4 co-pay for generic prescription drugs through the coverage gap. Another plan, Fidelis Dual Advantage, is available to those who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid coverage.
