OCRRA and Pinckney Hugo Group have released OCRRA's latest recycling campaign featuring 11 children from Onondaga County. The public education campaign highlights the importance of recycling to "save the world a little each day" and preserve natural resources for future generations.
OCRRA conducted a countywide contest to find "OCRRA Recycling Kids" for the campaign. The commercials feature Nicholas Mueller of Baldwinsville as well as 10 other children from Syracuse, Manlius, Cicero and Fulton. About 100 children were entered in the contest.
In the television commercials, the children thank people for recycling and demonstrate how easy it is to recycle newspapers, junk mail, magazines and other items on a daily basis.
