Elbridge Free Library launches summer reading program

The 2010 summer reading program at Elbridge Free Library begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday June 24. This year's theme is "Dive In... To a great book!"

Children will explore the world of water and water fun through stories, songs, games and other activities about oceans, rivers, lakes, and pools and the creatures that live there.

The program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, prized drawings and story hours. For more information, call the library at 689-7111 or visit the website at elbridgefreelibrary.org.

The following events are also planned at Elbridge Free Library; all events are at 6:30 p.m. and are free:

July 7: Story time and craft

July 14: Rosamond Gifford Zoo visit

July 21: BINGO

July 28: MOST science program

Aug. 4: Craft night

Aug. 11: Magician Ron Cain

Aug. 18: Final party and prizes
