B'ville sophomore attends leadership program

Colleen Morgan of Radisson recently attended the CNY Conference of the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar.

Morgan is a member of the National Honor Society and is the third-year president of the Baldwinsville Class of 2012. She is a member of the Girls JV Lacrosse Team, Varsity Tennis team, the National Society of High School Scholars, and is an active member of the Youth Ministry at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She is the daughter of Peggy Morgan-Northrup and Jim Morgan of Baldwinsville.

HOBY Leadership seminars bring together a select group of high school sophomores from public and private high schools to interact with groups of distinguished leaders in business, government, education and professions, to discuss present and future issues. Attendees are empowered to achieve their highest potential through lifelong leadership, community engagement, and self-development. The goal of the HOBY conferences is to teach youth how to think rather than what to think.

Morgan will be a junior at Baker High School in the fall.
