Madison Eagle has been suspended

Dear Madison Eagle subscriber:

This letter is to notify you that following the June 9, 2010 edition of the Madison Eagle, Eagle Newspapers will suspend publication of the newspaper for a period of a few months.

This break in service is to allow us time to reconfigure the newspaper so it can be more informative and useful for our readers and more effective for our advertising customers.

Rather than make a series of changes on the fly, we have decided to step back and take a longer, more intense assessment of the needs of our Madison Eagle customers.

The subscriptions of our Madison Eagle customers will be put on hold until we resume publication. At this time, we anticipate launching a newly designed and configured Madison County product around the beginning of October.

Once the publication is back in circulation, we plan to extend all existing subscriptions by eight additional weeks to compensate for this break in service.

Also, if any Madison Eagle subscribers would prefer to have their subscription converted to a Cazenovia Republican subscription, please notify our circulation department by email at subscriptions@cnylink.com or by phone at 315.434.8889 ext. 342.

To help us better assess your wishes as a reader, we have included a brief survey.

Please take the time to provide us your input, so that we can better fit our publication to your needs.

Thank you for your subscription to the Madison Eagle. With your help and support, we can provide a more vibrant and informative publication in the future.
