Jamesville Beach and Oneida Shores are extending open hours over the next two days to "beat the heat," announced County Executive Joanie Mahoney earlier today.
The two county park beaches, which will be open until 8 p.m., are also offering free public admission July 7 and 8.
"Oneida Shores and Jamesville Beach are two great places to visit, especially during the excessive heat and humidity we are experiencing," Mahoney said. "We wanted to make it accessible to everyone trying to find relief over the next few days."
Normal beach hours, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. are expected to resume on Friday July 9 with admission: $4/vehicle weekdays, $5 /vehicle on weekends.
