Manlius mayor to appoint village trustee

Mayor Mark-Paul Serafin introduced village resident Paul Lane to members of the board at its Jan. 12 meeting.

Serafin said he will officially announce Lane's appointment as village trustee during the Jan. 26 meeting, when Lane will begin his one-year term, filling the seat vacated by Serafin when he was elected mayor last March.

"Along with his enthusiasm and passion for the village of Manlius, at 27 years old, Paul brings another generation to the table, which should energize our younger voters' interest and participation in their village government," Serafin said.
