The Syracuse Catholic Diocese is holding special masses tomorrow Jan. 22 to pray for the promotion of life on the 37th anniversary of the Supreme Court decision, Roe v. Wade.
Bishop Robert J. Cunningham will celebrate a mass for life at 12:10 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Downtown Syracuse.
Rev. Joseph Clemente will host an evening of prayer at 7 p.m. at St. Matthews Church in East Syracuse. The church is located at 229 W. Yates Street in East Syracuse.
Additionally, more than 300 youth and chaperones from the diocese will be participating in the March for Life in Washington DC. The youth will participate in the Rally for Life and Youth Mass with more than 20,000 youth from across the country. After the mass, they will join the march with over 300,000 people from across the country.
