Oneida Police Logs Jan. 15

Oneida City Police are investigating a robbery that took place at about 8:42 p.m. on Jan. 14 at Barbano's Liquor Store on Phelps Street in the City of Oneida. A lone male described as approximately six feet tall, medium build, wearing a dark colored hoodie, possibly dark green in color, and wearing a bandana over his face entered the store and ordered the clerk to get down on the floor. He tied her hands behind her back. The suspect then stole cash from the store and fled. The clerk was not injuyred. Madison County Sheriff's and New York State Police K-9 Units assisted at the scence. Anyone that has any information on this investigation is asked to contact the Oneida City Police at 362-2323. All calls will be kept confidential.

Scott P. Farley, 24, of Madison St., Oneida was issued an appearance ticket on Jan. 13 to appear in Oneida City Court Jan. 26 to answer a charge of allegedly violating the city noise ordinance.

Alfonzo A. Miles, 24, of Eddy Rd., Canastota was arrested Jan. 14 on charges of Menacing in the Second Degree, Endangering the welfare of a child and Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree. Miles is alleged to have displayed a knife and threatened another person and chased the person on foot through backyards, unlawfully entering other peoples yard and while young children were playing the yard. He was arraigned and committed to Madison County Jail in lieu of bail set at $500 to appear Jan. 15.
