B'ville: Baker PTSA seeks members

The Baker Parent Group, founders of Keep the Ball Rolling (KBR), an After the Senior Ball event for Baldwinsville high school seniors, will be forming a PTSA in February.

The Baker PTSA will hold its first membership meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 10 in the Baker Library and encourages all Baker parents and teachers to attend. Membership is only $5.

The Baker High School PTSA needs 25 members at its first meeting in order to form. Its primary mission for forming is to support the KBR celebration May 29. While KBR's focus is on providing seniors with a night of outrageous fun, its more serious purpose is to give seniors a way to celebrate without alcohol, drugs and driving, thus helping to prevent tragic accidents on senior ball night.

Your support is greatly appreciated and needed Feb. 10. For more information, contact Christine Alencewicz (ealencew@twcny.rr.com) or Wendy Burke (wendy.burke1@yahoo.com). KBR is supported by the Baldwinsville Central School District, Baldwinsville Optimists, Class of 2010, SADD, Durgee PTSA and the soon to be formed Baker PTSA.
