The Baldwinsville Central School District endeavors to prepare its students for jobs, opportunities and technologies that do not yet exist, in order that they may help solve problems that have not yet arisen. In order to prepare them for life, learning and leadership, schools must equip students with the capacity to acquire new skills and new knowledge throughout their lives. The insights of students and parents, as well as educational, business and professional communities will be valuable resources for the district as we educate a new generation of citizens.
The district is beginning the process of updating the academic component of its long-range plan. In February, the district will hold three forums to draw upon the collective wisdom of the community and its many resources. These forums will be opportunities for community members to comment upon and offer insight as it pertains to the educational needs of Baldwinsville's students.
The meetings will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday Feb. 3, 10 and 24 in the cafeteria of C.W. Baker High School. Community members are invited to attend any of the three forums. If you are able to attend, please RSVP to Kelly Cary at email@example.com or call 638-6180 and provide the date you will be attending.
