Melissa A. DelGuercio to run for Cicero Town Justice

Former Family Court prosecutor announces candidacy

Cicero resident Melissa A. DelGuercio has officially announced her intent to seek the office to be vacated by Judge Carl T. Putzer at the end of the year.

"This vacancy presents a unique opportunity for the residents of Cicero to select a judicial candidate who will best serve our community and the interests of judicial equity," said DelGuercio. "I have no doubt that my qualifications and my experience with the members of our local bar will foster expeditious resolutions of cases handled by the office of the town justice. I look forward to that challenge."

DelGuercio served in the Onondaga County Attorney's Office and is presently is a partner in the firm, Weisberg, Zuker and DelGuercio where she is a specialist in the areas of family and criminal law.

She is an advocate for youth and a member of the Fourth Department law guardian panel.

She and her husband, Christopher, reside in Cicero with their son, Gabriel.
