Peanut butter, jelly time in B'ville

Hillview Community Church will collect donations of peanut butter and jelly the entire month of February to benefit local food pantries. This ninth annual campaign will conclude Feb. 28 when the church will celebrate Peanut Butter and Jelly Sunday.

Food pantries often have a short supply of non-perishable proteins such as tuna, peanut butter and even canned, potted meat and donations of these items will be accepted Wednesday evening and Sunday morning. All are invited to worship with the congregation Feb. 28. Simply bring in your donations, dress in purple and brown and enjoy some peanut butter and jelly-based treats at coffee hour. Sunday worship begins at 10 a.m. at the church, located on O'Brien Road in Baldwinsville. Call 652-1612 or visit hillviewcbc.org.
