Onondaga County Parks to host adult kickball leagues

Community fun begins at Onondaga Lake Park during Onondaga County Park's Co-ed Adult Kickball Leagues. The games are fast, everyone knows how to play, and the fun of feeling like a kid again is priceless.

Open registration for new teams to the Onondaga County Parks Co-ed Adult Kickball League is currently underway. Enrolling your team can be done by calling 453-6712.

Spring and summer league games are played Monday through Friday at Onondaga Lake Park's Parkside and Lakeside Fields, off of Route 370 in Liverpool. Game times are 6pm or 7 p.m.

A Friday night league is also played at Hopkins Road Park during the spring season. Those game times are 8:20 p.m. or 9:20 p.m.

A registration fee of $225 will secure a teams spot in the league. Umpire fees of $12.50 per team, per game are collected by the umpire before the game begins.

All players must be at least 18 years old. Each team must have a minimum of eight players (four males and four females). A team may have up to 11 players in the field at one time above the four-male/four-female requirement. A team's roster can carry an unlimited number of players.

The spring league begins the week of April 19. The summer league begins the week of July 5. Leagues will run for eight weeks. As these leagues are recreational, not competitive, participants are encouraged to relax and have fun.
