Paris Stenson named LHS Senior of the Week

This week's Liverpool High School Senior of the Week, Paris Stenson, is an aspiring writer of poetry and music.

Stenson submits his writing works to the magazine, "Genesis," each year. Outside of school, Stenson said he has a small music group that creates and performs songs. He also started his writing club called Writers of the Cuse.

In the classroom, he enjoys his writing workshop class and all of his social studies classes.

On the field, Stenson is a varsity football player for the Warriors. He said he plans to run outdoor track this year.

This outstanding senior works at Regal Entertainment Group 10 and volunteers for the Salvation Army, Destiny USA City cleanups and Liverpool youth football camp.

He has received two Excellence Awards for Spanish and has achieved All-League Honorable Mention for playing varsity football for LHS. Stenson has also received a Community Scholarship to Le Moyne College.

After college, Stenson would like to work in the entertainment business.

Who has influenced this LHS senior the most?

"My mom because she has accomplished so much by herself," Stenson said. "Her drive and determinitation is off the charts."

Stenson said he has worked hard throughout his high school years to improve his grades and study habits.

"I am pleased to know that the hard work has paid off," Stenson said.
