B'ville Theatre Guild presents 'The Good Doctor'

The Baldwinsville Theatre Guild brings "The Good Doctor" to the community beginning next weekend.

A classic comedy, "The Good Doctor" was adapted by Neil Simon from a collection of stories by Russian author and playwright Anton Chekhov. The play features several characters all portrayed by the same six actors. Chekhov's early short stories capture the comic and serious sides of the 19th century Russian middle class.

The cast includes Mark Baker, Denise Ballou, Jay Burris, Camille Chace, Stephanie Long, Cole Salo and Josh Taylor. Directed by Jon J. Barden and produced by Steve Borek, "The Good Doctor" will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays (Feb. 26, 27, March 5, 6, 12 and 13) and at 3 p.m. Sunday March 7 at the Presbyterian Education Center on Oswego Road in Baldwinsville. Call 877-4183 for tickets; adults are $15, students $12 and seniors (matinee only) $12.

Josh Taylor pulls Cole Salo aching tooth as a not so good doctor.
