B'ville: McNamara flag project

Fourth-graders at McNamara Elementary capped off their social studies unit on the American Revolution by making their own versions of the American flag and rewriting the Declaration of Independence in their own words. Students decorated objects such as T-shirts, pillows and tote bags with the American flag. One student made a flag, complete with stars and stripes, out of Legos.

Ryan Fecco created an American flag out of a pillow for his social studies project.
