Meyer appointed to CNY regional planning board

Legislator Bill Meyer (R-Cicero) has been appointed to the Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board.

The Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board (CNY RPDB) is a public agency that was established in 1966 by Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Oswego, and Onondaga Counties.

The CNY RPDB is governed by a board of directors that is appointed by its five member counties. The CNY RPDB provides a comprehensive range of services associated with the growth and development of communities in Central New York with a focus community development, economic development, energy management, environmental management, information and research services, intergovernmental cooperation and transportation planning.

Meyer brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to the board, both as a small business owner and as a public official. The board meets bi-monthly to discuss issues pertinent to Central New York planning and development.
