The Merry-Go-Round Playhouse audition dates for the highly anticipated upcoming 2011 summer season which includes "Anything Goes," "Hairspray," "42nd Street," "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?," and "The Marvelous Wonderettes."
Local upstate auditions will be held Saturday, Jan. 29 and Sunday Jan. 30 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse at 6877 East Lake Rd (Rt 38A) in Emerson Park on Owasco Lake in Auburn. Auditionees will be seen on a first-come first-served basis.

Auditionees should bring a current picture and updated resume. Prepare 16 measures of an up tempo song and 16 measures of a ballad. An accompanist will be provided, so please provide sheet music. Auditionees may be asked to read from provided scripts and/or attend a dance call. Dancers, bring appropriate clothing and footwear, including taps.
