Benefit to be held for local man in Phoenix

Paul Miller, Class of 1989, JCB High School, Phoenix, has been diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease and Lyme disease. In addition to his treatments for ALS here, he goes to New Jersey to a Lyme disease clinic for treatments, not all of which are covered by insurance. Please come to VFW Post 5540, Culvert Street, Phoenix on August 15 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. to support Paul and enjoy barbecued chicken and homemade sides and desserts.

Admission is $10.00 pre-sale or at the door. There will be music by Whirling Discs DJs. Call 698-1532 for tickets, or pick them up from Pat Berard at Music in the Park in Phoenix on Monday nights.
