Madison Dems to hold awards dinner

The First Annual "James and Dolly Madison" Dinner will held on Tuesday May 11, 2010 at the Oneida Kallet Civic Center. Keynote speaker for the evening will be NYS Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli.

As part of this annual fundraising dinner, the Madison County Democrats will also be presenting the first-ever Award for Dedicated Service to the Community. And the awards first recipient will be the Munnsville American Legion Post 54 for all they do for their community, Veterans and also for bringing the Moving Vietnam Wall to our area.

The buffet dinner will be catered by Napoleon's Caf (c) featuring traditional and vegetarian dishes, as well as a carving station, and will begin at 7p.m.

A cash bar will also be available starting at 6p.m. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Edward Sitts at (315) 292-8911 or by e-mailing to madctydemcomm@gmail.com. Tickets are $40.

Checks should be made payable to Madison County Democratic Committee and sent to 2891 Johnnycake Hill Road, Hamilton NY 13346.

In an effort to make contacting our county government easier, the Committee is assembling a Program/Resource Guide for Madison County. This guide will be handed out at the dinner, as well as distributed to the general public.
