Six different players achieved multiple goals as F-M showed its best depth and balance all season. Taylor Robinson, Mollie Caputo, Marilyn Farrell and Kelly Perry each put up three-goal hat tricks, with Robinson adding three assists.
Close behind them, Mari Ryu and Morgan Same had two-goal outings, with Sarah Lux contributing a goal and two assists. Katie Sipple and Alex Murphy earned assists, too.
Both F-M teams are off until Saturday, where they join forces for a doubleheader - the girls meeting Oswego at 3 p.m, the boys facing Henninger at 5 p.m.
It's all part of "Something for Shafer", the day-long fund-raiser for the family of long-time English teacher John Shafer, who passed away in early February. It includes varsity and JV baseball and softball games against Chittenango, concessions and booths run by school clubs and a nighttime dance in the school courtyards with students from F-M and Chittenango.
