B'ville spring school concerts

Music students in the Baldwinsville Central School District are tuning up to showcase their musical talents in their spring concerts. These are the final concerts for each school for the school year. All concerts are free and open to the public. The following is a list of concerts for Ray Middle School, Durgee Junior High School and Baker High School:

Ray Middle

Sixth-grade concert. The sixth-grade band, orchestra and chorus, as well as the Ray jazz band, Katz Pajamaz, will perform at 7:30 p.m. May 11 at the school.

Seventh-grade concert. Band, orchestra and chorus students will perform and the Ray jazz strings group, the Bee Sharps, are also scheduled to play at 7:30 p.m. May 12 at the school.

Durgee Junior High

Chorus concert. The mixed chorus, girls' chorus and Tone Colors, the school's vocal jazz group, will perform at 7:30 p.m. May 20 in the school cafeteria.

Band concert at 7:30 p.m. June 2 in the auditorium of Baker High School.

Baker High School

Vocal Honors performance. Students in the honors chorus program will perform at 7:30 p.m. May 3 in the school's chorus room.

Baker High School/Durgee Junior High School strings concert at 7:30 p.m. May 6 in the high school auditorium

Jazz Concert. Baker's vocal jazz ensemble, Company B, and the school's jazz strings group and jazz band ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. May 13 in the school auditorium.

Choral concert. The concert will feature music from Broadway musicals and the television show, "Glee" at 7:30 p.m. May 26 in the auditorium.

Band concert at 7:30 p.m. May 27 in the school auditorium.
