Syracuse man stabbed at Marcellus party

Onondaga County Sheriff Kevin E. Walsh reports that Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a stabbing that occurred overnight.

At approximately 12:15 am this morning Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a reported stabbing on Frank Gay Road in the Town of Marcellus.

The victim, 19 year old Liam T. Halligan of Hillcrest Road in Syracuse, had attended a party with friends and was assaulted with a sharp object after the party.

Halligan received several not life-threatening injuries as a result of the assault and was transported to University Hospital.

Deputies are continuing to investigate this incident.
