North Syracuse Baptist Church to host Jacobs Brothers

The Jacobs Brothers, veterans of gospel music for more than 45 years, are returning to Syracuse Saturday April 24.

Versatility best describes the Jacobs Brothers' program. Although they specialize in traditional and sacred music, using the diversified talents of the singers throughout the concert varies their approach to the Gospel.

The end result is a program, which is appealing to all ages in the audience. Many have testified that attendance at a Jacobs Brothers concert is truly an unforgettable experience.

Their concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. at North Syracuse Baptist Church; doors will open at 5:45 p.m. The concert will be opened by "The Helmsmen," a Southern Gospel Trio from Central New York and one of Syracuse's home-bred Gospel groups "Five to Life Acappella Gospel," a male quintet we have greatly appreciated in previous years.

There will also have a special trumpet trio. The concert will be interpreted for the hearing-impaired, also.

Tickets purchased in advance will cost $7.50, and are available at North Syracuse Baptist Church and at Sacred Melody Bookstore; tickets purchased at the door will be $9.

Please send checks payable to North Syracuse Baptist Church, 420 S. Main St., North Syracuse, NY 13212. Please mark memo line of check "Jacobs Brothers Concert."

Tickets will be reserved for you and available at the main door the evening of the concert, or you may include a self addressed, stamped envelope for the return of your tickets.
