Women TIES (Women Together Inspiring Entrepreneurial Success), a Central New York business dedicated to helping women entrepreneurs expand their local, state and regional marketplace in New York, will host a strategic networking and educational luncheon for Oswego women entrepreneurs.
From noon to 2 p.m. May 6 at the Oswego Country Club (610 W. First St. in Oswego), the Women TIES Greater Oswego Luncheon titled "Growing a Company with Passion, Partners and a Plan" will be presented by Susan Bertrand, founder of Maureen's Hope Foundation in Baldwinsville. Bertrand will provide advice on diversifying a product or service line to grow a company, taking financial risks in expanding operations, utilizing the community to spread a corporate message and leading a company from the heart.
The event is being sponsored by the Women's Network for Entrepreneurial Training (WNET), SUNY Oswego, Operation Oswego County, SUNY Oswego Phoenix Center, Alliance Bank, Beauticontorl, Jody Frawley Advertising and Promotion, Literacy Volunteers of Oswego County and By Detail.
The cost of the event is $27 and includes lunch, program and strategic networking opportunities to help women forge stronger economic ties with other women entrepreneurs. For more information about the event or to make reservations, visit womenties.com or call 471-1987.
