Radisson Nursery School will offer an exciting new program beginning in September.
"Due to the increased demand for five-day programs for older four-year-olds and young five-year-olds, we are going to hold a class Mondays through Fridays," said Kristin Weaver, director of Radisson Nursery School.
Weaver said the class is geared toward children who may need another year of preschool before starting kindergarten or children who turn five soon after the Dec. 1 district cut-off date. The program will also be open to children who are four years old by Sept. 1, as they will benefit from the program too.
"We can also take children who attend morning kindergarten, as the class will be held in the afternoon," Weaver said.
The class will be held from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Children who attend the five-day program must attend all days in the afternoon. Weaver said the school will still offer its three-day program for 4-year-olds from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The cost will be $175 per month and registration is $50.
"We are very excited about this new program and know that it will be beneficial to all 4- and 5-year-olds," Weaver said.
