It may just be a quiet rumbling, but the “annoying noise” issue is not going away for the Elbridge Town Board. Councilor Rita Dygert reported at the June 2 board meeting that copies of the noise ordinances from the town of Ira and the village of Jordan were being reviewed. Supervisor Ken Bush Jr. explained that the board would have to weigh whether creating yet another new law in response to a small part of the population would benefit the overall community. Dygert said a decision would probably be made in the near future. The board meets next at 7 p.m. Wednesday June 16 at Elbridge Town Hall.
