Film Descriptions:
INDIANA JONES TEMPLE OF DOOM: 1984 Steven Spielberg
Set in 1935, a professor, archaeologist, and legendary hero by the name of Indiana Jones is back in action in his newest adventure. But this time he teams up with a night club singer named Wilhelmina “Willie” Scott and a twelve-year-old boy named Short Round. They end up in an Indian small distressed village, where the people believe that evil spirits have taken all their children away after a sacred precious stone was stolen! They also discovered the great mysterious terror surrounding a booby-trapped temple known as the Temple of Doom! Thuggee is beginning to attempt to rise once more, believing that with the power of all five Sankara stones they can rule the world! Now, it’s all up to Indiana to put an end to the Thuggee campaign, rescue the lost children, win the girl and conquer the Temple of Doom. Written by Anthony Pereyra THE GATE: 1987 Tibor Takacs

Written by Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil DEATH RACE 2000: 1975 Roger Corman classic (with Swedish Subtitles)
n the near future the ultimate sporting event is the deathrace. Contestants get score points for running people down as they speed across the country. The sport has crazed fans who sacrifice themselves to the drivers. An overt agency is trying to bring an end to the immoral deathrace and has infiltrated one of their followers in to the race as a navigator. In the end of the race the lives of the competitors, the President and the deathrace itself are in peril. Written by FMJ_Joker HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER: 1986 John McNaughton
What would you do if you found out that the person living right along side you is really a serial killer, who engages in bizarre acts of sex with people and animals, living and dead, who killed his own mother? Well, meet Henry. He is a typical under-paid bug spray guy who lives amongst you. He is not Freddy or Jason, he’s real. Henry was serving time in jail for killing his mother. He cannot seem to keep his story straight in his head, he can’t really recall how he killed that one. She was cruel to him. She made him wear a dress to school, and she made him watch her have sex with dirty old men. He couldn’t take it anymore, so one day, he just killed her. No remorse. He hooked up with a friend named Otis, and the two are living together. Otis’ sister is moving in too, because she doesn’t have any money. They are an interesting trio, each with their own set of morals. Otis’ sister begins to fall for Henry, who has wonderful manners and seems to look out for her. Otis on the other hand, he just wants to see his sister naked. Henry and Otis go out for beers one night, and Henry introduces him to the act of murder. They kill a few prostitutes, and a “hot” items salesman. There is no limit to what they will do once they get a taste for it. Otis is becoming quickly addicted, and he can’t pull himself out of the web Henry has weaved. That poor girl has no idea what is going on with them. She begins to date Henry. The two appear to fall in love. The cops don’t have a clue. Henry is too smart for them. If you shoot one, and stab another, they will never make the connection between the two murders. It all becomes so random that it seems normal death to the police. Henry also has transportation on his side. He travels from town to town once the heat gets too heavy. He can pick up a few hitchhikers on the way and kill them. Bingo! A new guitar. This movie is very shocking, because you only see one or two of the fifteen murders happen, the rest you just see the before and after, with no middle. It makes you wonder what the hell was going on in between. Written by Natalie Wayne STREET TRASH: 1987 J. Michael Muro (Featuring a first ever live commentary with Roy Frumkes (writer/producer) over his very own 35mm film print. When a liquor store owner finds a case of “Viper” in his cellar, he decides to sell it to the local hobos at one dollar a bottle, unaware of its true properties. The drinks causes its consumers to melt, very messily. Two homeless lads find themselves up against the effects of the toxic brew, as well as going head to head with “Bronson” a Vietnam vet with sociopathic tendencies, and the owner of the junkyard they live in. Written by zombiefiend_2000 TORTURE DUNGEON: 1970 Andy Milligan
The sudden decapitation of Lord Harkin has the Kingdom, as well it should, in a state of fear. For it is well known to one and all of the citizens around and about that Norman, the evil Duke of Norwich (played by who cares) and his buddies, bimbos and cohorts over at—Drum Roll—The Torture Dungeon are responsible. Norman has plans to marry off his dimwit half-brother Albert of Aberthy to Heather McGregor of No Title, the most beautiful and sensual girl in the Kingdom. But first he has to arrange for the pitchforking of her current squeeze, William the Nobody. Heather has no idea of what she is getting into but, following the spectacular Royal Wedding followed by the erotic ceremony of the spectacular consumation of the Royal Marriage, she begins to suspect that all that is rotten does not lie entirely in Denmark, especially if Andy Milligan is around. Norman’S half sisters—this guy has no full siblings—Lady Agatha and Lady Jane, in a very good effort to warn Heather of Norman’s methods, take her down to roll–The Torture Dungeon. She is terrified at what she sees, which is somewhat surprising for one who has just been exposed to Albert, as it is basically gory sights of mutilated victims. Norman, a man with a plan, has his henchmen, Ivan the Terrible Dwarf and Maudlin the Execeutioner, do away with Albert, Lady Jane and Lady Agatha and is attempting to kill Heather, who is but doesn’t know it, the true heir to the throne recently vacated by the late, decapitated Lord Harkin. But, Norman is foiled by Margaret the Hag, a disfigured member of the Court, who spears him to death just before she is trampled to death by a horse, or audience members stampeding for the exits. Written by Les Adams EVIL DEAD: 1981 Sam Raimi (this print is part of the official GRINDHOUSE 2009-2010 re-release EVIL DEAD film tour) Five friends go to a cabin in the woods for a vacation. They discover The Book of the Dead and a tape recorder belonging to a professor, who also owns the cabin. One of them plays back what is recorded on the tape– which just happens to be Candarian resurrection passages translated from the Necronomicon (Book of the Dead) by the professor, which unleashes an evil force from the woods. The people start turning into evil deadites, and the others soon learn from the tape that the only way to kill a person who is turned into a deadite is by total body dismemberment. People are dying left and right; one girl early in the film looses control and runs off into the woods, only to be raped by the trees. Written by Ash WEIRD SCIENCE: 1985 John Hughes
Two unpopular teenagers, Gary and Wyatt, fail at all attempts to be accepted by their peers. Their desperation to be liked leads them to “create” a woman via their computer. Their living and breathing creation is a gorgeous woman, Lisa, whose purpose is to boost their confidence level by putting them into situations which require Gary and Wyatt to act like men. On their road to becoming accepted, they encounter many hilarious obstacles, which gives the movie an overall sense of silliness. Written by Jeff Ranous HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH: 1982 Tommy Lee Wallace
Daniel Challis, a doctor in a northern California hospital treats a scared old man, Harry Grimbridge screaming, “They are going to kill us!” and clutching a Halloween mask from the number-one best-selling Silver Shamrock mask company. But later Daniel is shocked when later that night: Harry is murdered in his hospital bed and the killer walks calmly to a car and blows himself up. His curiosity is more piqued when Harry’s daughter Ellie arrives and tells Daniel that Harry was scared ever since he tried looking into the origins of the masks, since no orders for them are being taken for the following year. Daniel and Ellie go to Santa Mira, home of Silver Shamrock, to uncover what happened and are horrified to find out that the owner of the mask company, Conal Cochran, is planning to use the masks and some black magic as one great Halloween trick on the children who are wearing his masks that coming Halloween. As time draws near on Halloween night, Daniel must stop Cochran from sending the signal out to activate the masks and he can only do that if he can get out of Cochran’s huge mask factory alive…. Two campers in the New Jersey woods have their outdoor fun interrupted by the arrival of a meteorite crashing nearby. They go to investigate the crater, but are suddenly attacked and devoured by alien parasites who have hitched a ride to Earth. After finishing off the campers, the hungry space monsters head for a nearby town, where they make their domain in the basement of an old house soon begin polishing off one hapless inhabitant after another. Four young teenagers, plus one pre-teen boy, try to find a way to stop the angry space monsters before they reproduce and literally eat humanity.
