Not long after Jamesville-DeWitt’s girls lacrosse team rallied to beat East Syracuse-Minoa on April 1, the two sides went on separate paths for a brief time, with the rematch looming. In the Red Rams’ case, that meant hosting Fulton on Tuesday and surviving wet conditions to piece together a 15-5 victory over the Red Raiders. J-D got most of its offense early, and Ashriel West proved unstoppable as she piled up four goals and five assists, often feeding it to Lauren Swan or Taylor Bierwagen, each of whom had three-goal hat tricks. Liz Beville (two goals, one assist) and Tori Nies (one goals, two assists) both got three points, with Ally Loewy adding one goal and one assist and Morgan Freeman also earning a point. ESM, meanwhile, had a fun time at Whitesboro, flattening the Warriors 17-3 as it scored 11 times in the first half alone to erase any doubt about its first win of the season. Six different players had multiple goals. Marlee Vlassis and Alayna Davis each found the net three times, with Alyssa Anderalli and Nikki Devona each getting two goals and two assists. Allyson Rossi and Alex McEachron both had two goals and one assist, with Katie Hall picking up a goal and three assists. Liz Stratton and Lauren Greiner scored, too.
