Vernon Verona Sherrill’s boys volleyball team would stay quite active in the last week of the regular season, and it started by knocking off its biggest rival. Furious at letting a game get away, the Red Devils reclaimed control with a 25-16 third game, then claimed the f0urth game 25-18 to close out the match. Cole Barbano, with 26 assists, fed a front line where Josh Masi had 11 kills and three blocks, Drew Foster got seven kills and Tyler Curtis added six kills. But in the third game, Chittenango broke a 9-9 tie, then pulled away to take it 25-15.
