Drainage public hearing set for Harbor Heights

A public hearing regarding the formation of a drainage district in the older section of Harbor Heights has been set for 7:32 Oct. 20 at the Van Buren Town Hall. The town engineer is currently preparing a map, plan and report to determine the feasibility of forming the district and the cost per homeowner. Originally proposed for the first week in October, officials postponed the public hearing to ensure the study was all-inclusive and costs were closely estimated to actual expenses. Results of the study, as well as cost estimates, will be announced during the public hearing.
