Fall Registration began Sept. 14 for the Lysander Parks and Recreation Department.
There are many new programs this year as well as favorite programs from last year. Registration is required for programs and is on a first come, first served basis. Pick up the new fall brochures at any local Baldwinsville bank, the Baldwinsville Public Library, the Lysander Town Hall and at Lysander Park or download from townoflysander.org.
Swim lessons will be held Sept. 13 to Nov. 29 at Baker High School pool for children 5 and older. Swimmers must be at least 44 inches tall. Pre-testing will be held on Sept. 15 to make sure your child is in the right level.
Youth and teen golf lessons
This beginner level Golf Clinic is for juniors, ages 6 to 12 and teens 13 to 18.
The lessons will run for four weeks. This year again we have available youth golf clubs through the Sticks for Kids program. This is a great way to let your child learn the game of golf without buying expensive kids clubs. These clubs will be loaned on a first come, first serve policy, with a security deposit of $55 by check, made out to the Town of Lysander.
Please contacts the Park Office for availability. Kids clubs are limited to the first 10 golfers. Clubs will be yours to use for lessons beginning Sept. 14 and must be returned Oct. 6 at the end of the lesson. These beginner lessons will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Sundays (Sept. 14 to Oct. 5), with adults lessons following from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Hickory Hill Golf Center.

Session one will be held from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays Oct. 6 to 27. There is a maximum of six per session and sessions are fill fast.
