The Baldwinsville Central School District's marching band's home show, "Fantasy of Sound," is set for Sept. 19 at Pelcher/Arcaro Stadium, located on the district's main campus at 29 East Oneida St. in the village of Baldwinsville. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $6.
High school marching bands from Baldwinsville, Vestal, Marcus Whitman, Corning East, Johnson City, Auburn and Jordan-Elbridge will compete in the show.
The Baldwinsville Marching Bees' performance will pay tribute to the Navy. Students will be costumed in Navy outfits and carrying flags dedicated to the ships that were sunk at Pearl Harbor. The show will also feature a replica of a ship. Music includes "At Dawn They Slept" by Jay Bocook and "Into the Raging River" by Steven Reineke.
